Sunday, April 19, 2009 Great just great,i am feeling so tired and i am unable to speak a word,do u think it's awesome to not be able to speak a word,i know the feeling sucks, but let's spare a thought to the people who really can't speak, like people who r mute,i mean everyday they can't speak, don't they feel jealous that other people could carry normal conversation while they can't,isn't it unfair to them. So,my point is that i should be thankful that God has given me a voice to speak and i shouldn't be going around and complain that i can't speak bcos that problem is only temporary,it gets better in a few days time,so i should sit around and wait for this problem to resolve bcos in the end,God gave me a voice to speak and i should be thankful for being able to talk everyday. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 Here is what i don't get,why is everyone hating on Simon Cowell when he gives bad remarks during an American idol show, isn't that bad remark suppose to let the contestant know on what they can do to be a better singer,i mean if u hav good remarks all the time u will start feeling over-confident on ur abilities and u will start falling as a singer because of ur over-confidence,so bad remarks are there to help you improve on ur singing.Same thing can be applied to my SYF drama rehearsels.Every rehearsels should at least hav a bad remark so that the play as a whole could improve,if we keep on getting good remarks,we will start feeling over-confident and in the end,we will lose out in the gold award and honours. In my opinion,we must face criticism in our everyday live bcos they are here to improve on our skills (p.s i am not on Simon cowell side,i am just stating my opinion on the fans response to Simon Cowell comments,so don't get the wrong idea) Ricardo at 5:53 AM
Wednesday, April 1, 2009 Hi all, this is my new blog,i gotta delete my old blog because i cannot use my old email address, which means i hav to use a new one now,so i hope you guys like my new blog. Anyways,i am here to talk abt april fools day since today is april fools. So here is the origins of the april fools joke taken from wikipedia: The origin of April Fools' Day is obscure. One likely theory is that the modern holiday was first celebrated soon after the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar; the term referred to someone still adhering to the Julian Calendar, which it replaced. In many pre-Christian cultures May Day (May 1) was celebrated as the first day of summer, and signalled the start of the spring planting season. An April Fool was someone who did this prematurely. Another origin is that April 1 was counted the first day of the year in France. When King Charles IX changed that to January 1, some people stayed with April 1. Those who did were called "April Fools" and were taunted by their neighbors. In the eighteenth century the festival was often posited as going back to the times of Noah. An English newspaper article published on April 13th, 1789 said that the day had its origins when he sent the raven off too early, before the waters had receded. He did this on the first day of the Hebrew month that corresponds with April. A possible reference to April Fools' Day can be seen in the Canterbury Tales (ca 1400) in the Nun's Priest's tale, a tale of two fools: Chanticleer and the fox, which took place on March 32nd. That's how the April fools day started. But i find april fools day the most annoying day of your life,i mean those your shoelaces is untied joke is getting old, come on can you think of something better ?Anyways, enough of this.I had drama rehearsels today for syf,it's getting more and more intense but i can manage this because i also had this feeling last year so it should be normal for me :).Well,my ankle is getting better(i sprained it during the nybc competition cos shaun made me walk around compass point till my right feet ache) but i will not be able to do my 2.4 km run tmr, yippee :D:D:D.
